What exactly are we doing in forward folds? Tight hamstring tilts the pelvis backwards, flattering lordotic curve of the lower back. Hamstring is an important part of our muscle we use everyday, we engage them as we walk, run or stretch. Hamstring limitation may be compromised with posterior thigh pain over time. In this video, we will go over the misconception, modifications for beginners and intermediate practitioners. The video will show how to stretch effectively without strain.

Forward folds are important aspect of physical‬ practice, it reduces stress, keep the spine strong and flexible, relieve tension in the neck and stretches the hips, hamstring and calves.
